Patrick McNamara joined Palm Health Foundation as President and CEO in March of 2017. He has spent the past 30 years in the nonprofit health and human services sector, including 18 years with Community Partners of South Florida where he also served as President and CEO. Mr. McNamara is licensed in Clinical Social Work, holds a Master of Social Work from Tulane University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Franciscan University, and he attended Georgetown University for three years. To build on his leadership skills, he completed an executive fellowship at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government from 2012-13 called Achieving Excellence.
He is an alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County (Class of 2008), and currently serves on the Board of the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County and on the Board of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches. He previously served on the Board of the Florida Community Loan Fund and the Board of the National NeighborWorks Association. He received the Leadership Excellence Award from Leadership Palm Beach County in 2013, the Alumni Citizenship Award from Franciscan University in 2014, the Nonprofit Executive of the Year Award from Nonprofits First in 2018, and the Bruce Rendina Professional Heroes in Medicine Award from the Palm Beach County Medical Society in 2020.
