Establishing a fund with Palm Health Foundation is a simple process.

Define your passion.

We will work with you to create a fund that is tailored to your interests and will accomplish your goals. Our options are flexible: your fund can broadly benefit the community or focus on specific issues, organizations, or scholarships. You may also contribute to a fund someone else has established, or to a particular issue area that you care about.

Palm Health Foundation offers the following types of funds:

A personal approach to giving.

This fund is a perfect choice for those who wish to have ongoing involvement in the use of their gift. Work with our staff to decide ongoing uses for the fund—targeting the issues you care about most. Grant awards are issued to charities in the name of the fund (or anonymously if you prefer). It’s a simple, powerful, and highly personal approach to giving.

Connecting personal values to high-impact opportunities.

You can target your gift to address needs in a specific area of community life that is important to you, such as the social determinants of health, scholarships, or mental health.

Helping local organizations sustain and grow.

This choice allows you to support the good work of a specific nonprofit organization and Palm Health Foundation staff manages the annual distribution from your fund.

Helping students pursue their dreams.

You can create a named scholarship through Palm Health Foundation as a way to help students achieve their lifetime goals. The foundation provides the expertise to help you meet your personal goals and rewards deserving students.

Your gift can address a broad range of local needs— including future needs that may not be anticipated at the time your gift is made. The flexibility of your unrestricted gift enables the foundation’s program experts to respond to the community’s most pressing needs, today and tomorrow.

Choose a method of investment.

Make the initial gift to your fund, or work with your professional advisor to create a planned gift.* The foundation can accept a wide variety of assets.

Select a name for your fund.

Funds can be named for you, a favorite cause or to memorialize a loved one. You can also choose anonymity and select a name reflecting your charitable purposes.

Complete a simple governing document.

Once you complete and sign the fund agreement, the foundation will begin to help you meet your charitable objectives, assuring your philanthropic wishes are met in perpetuity.
