Digital Vibez, in partnership with the Palm Health Foundation, proudly announces the expansion of “Let’s Move” to a year-round program – Let’s Move 365. Designed to combat childhood obesity and promote wellness in underserved communities, the initiative is made possible through Palm Beach County and oversight by the Parks & Recreation Department as fiscal agent.
Launched in 2012, Let’s Move began as a month-long challenge in March, encouraging residents to log 30 minutes of daily activity. Starting with 100,000 minutes in its first year, the county logged an astounding 72.5 million minutes in March 2024.
The program’s evolution into a year-round initiative will provide free fitness classes, wellness education, and community events to ensure residents maintain healthy lifestyles. With support from partners like Genesis Health and advocates like the American Heart Association, Let’s Move will target zip codes with higher rates of metabolic conditions, including diabetes and obesity, focusing on communities including 33446, 33404, 33417, 33436, 33435, 33438, 33445, 33477, and 33467. Genesis Health will work proactively to monitor and collect medical data across zip codes year-round to ensure metabolic rates are improving.
The program will offer tailored classes for all ages, including:
“Together with Palm Beach County, the Parks & Recreation Department, and partners like Genesis Health and advocates like the American Heart Association, we are reimagining what wellness looks like in our community,” said Wil Romelus, founder of Digital Vibez.
Participants in these communities will also receive access to free health information and resources, empowering them to make informed choices about their well-being.
“Let’s Move has already inspired millions of minutes of activity across Palm Beach County,” said Patrick McNamara, president, and CEO of Palm Health Foundation. “By expanding to year-round programming, we’re not just encouraging healthier habits—we’re creating lasting change in the lives of our residents.”
